You Tube is introducing two new features for smart phone users. Users will get different experiences while watching videos through these two features. Testing of features has already started.
According to technology blog DroidMaze, India's technology media Gazettes Now reported that YouTube is introducing two new features for smart phone users to control video more. The two features were introduced on a pilot basis but did not say when they would be released officially.
YouTube's new two features include 'Loop Video'. The same video can be viewed automatically over and over again with the help of loop video feature. Desktop users are already enjoying the benefit. This time the facility is also being brought to smart phone users. If the new feature is officially launched, the 'Loop Video' option will be available only by clicking on the three dot marked options next to each video on YouTube.
Another new feature on YouTube is 'Clip'. With this feature, you can take 60 seconds from any YouTube video and share the clip as a separate video. Once the feature is turned on for everyone, you will find an option marked scissors next to the likes, shares, etc. below each video. A 60 second clip can be created by clicking on this option.
YouTube had earlier introduced a new feature for users last April. With that feature, users can determine which quality they want to stream a video into.
